Treasury and payments platform Finmo says businesses now move more than $1 billion a month through its TreasuryOS platform. It marked the threshold on 8 September by opening a new global headquarters at Suntec City in Singapore.

Alvin Tan, Singapore’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and National Development and a board member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, attended as guest of honour and officially opened the office. Finmo didn’t disclose a quote from him, and MAS itself has made no separate statement on the milestone.

David Hanna, Finmo’s co-founder and chief executive, said: “Payments and treasury are two sides of the same ledger. Bringing the two together enables smarter payments informed by a real-time understanding of cash, liquidity and the wider financial position.”

“We’re seeing that vision translate into real scale,” Hanna added. “Businesses now move more than $1 billion through Finmo every month, while we remain cashflow positive as we expand globally.”

Licences span eight markets

Finmo has built up its regulatory footprint since securing Singapore’s Major Payment Institution licence in 2023, the same year its local headcount more than doubled, according to the company. It added a UK Electronic Money Institution authorisation from the FCA in July 2025 and, in September 2025, in-principle approval for a Dubai Financial Services Authority licence.

The company counts 11 licences and registrations across 8 markets in total, spanning full licences or authorisations in Singapore, the UK, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand, in-principle DFSA approval in Dubai, and money-service-business registrations in the US and Canada, and is certified to ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and PCI DSS standards.

TreasuryOS connects to more than 11,000 banks, according to the company, and integrates with accounting software including NetSuite, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks, letting finance teams reconcile payments against their own ledgers.

Finmo raised an oversubscribed $18.5 million Series A round in February 2025, co-led by Quona Capital and PayPal Ventures with Citi Ventures also participating, taking its total funding to $27 million. It has since won FinTech of the Year at the Asia FinTech Awards 2026, beating nine other finalists at a ceremony in Singapore.

The February 2025 Series A remains Finmo’s only disclosed funding round to date, and its regulatory footprint now spans 8 markets as it builds out TreasuryOS from its new Singapore headquarters.
